Dr. Penafiel takes continuing education courses regularly to keep up with the everchanging world of dentistry. She donates her time by serving the Mid-Maryland Mission of Mercy, Stanton Community Center Dental Health Clinic, and other organizations in the community.  

Professional Memberships

Dr. Penafiel is an active member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontics Honor Society and the Gorgas Odonatological Honor Society. She also served as Vice President of her dental school class at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. 

Life & Hobbies

During her free time, Dr. Penafiel enjoys watching movies, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with her husband and 3 beautiful children. She is a parishioner at Our lady of the Field Catholic Church in Millersville, MD. Dr. Penafiel is also an active member in numerous Filipino organizations in the community. She is very fond of pugs and is always learning new skills and hobbies.

Dr. Zbin is an Invisalign Silver Plus Provider. She is also certfied in Botox and Dermal Fillers from the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Dr. Zbin has extensive training in root canal therapy, oral surgery, and implant restoration.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Zbin proudly spent her childhood in Cleveland, OH before completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton. Go Flyers! After earning her BS in Biology, she attended Marquette University School of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). In her free time, Dr. Zbin enjoys being outdoors with her goldendoodle, reading with her bookclub, and traveling with her partner, Evan.
